Budget Bill

The customer is responsible for all usage billed to their account. Budget billing is an estimated figure. The bill will appear as usual with monthly consumption figures, amounts and payments showing. The net amount will show the status of the account. At times it may be necessary to adjust an account due to over or under-estimation. The budget payments are due by the due date of every month. If payment is not received by the due date, the account is removed from the budget plan and placed back on standard billing. If your account is removed from the budget bill program for late payment, you will be required to go on the Automatic Payment Program (ACH) to be put back on budget billing. Terminate Service

Watertown Municipal Utilities may need to contact you to complete this transaction. If for some reason the new owner or tenant does not sign up for utility service, the utilities will remain on and in your name until an appointment is made with us to disconnect service. We will send you a confirmation response by email or phone. Order is not processed until confirmed by the Watertown Municipal Utilities.
